  • For over 30 years, Manic Panic has been electrifying the hair (and lips and cheeks and nails) of rabble-rousing youth everywhere. A counter cultural venture by sisters Tish and Snooky, the bright, rainbow-spanning dyes were merely a side venture that the sisters started out of their St. Marks Place shop to counter their nights singing back up for Blondie and in their own band, the Sick F*cks - which sounds, you know, just kind of slightly amazing.

Their shop on St. Marks Place was one of the first stores in America to cater to punk style, and quickly found fans in the sister’s friends like Joey Ramone, Blondie, and Patti Smith, way before the brand made waves globally. Big fans ourselves, we couldn’t think of a better way to showcase the kick of these cosmetics than by pairing them with our matching Neon Royal Pro-Keds, themselves inspired by the 70s punk hair that the sisters brought to life!
